Presentations, Games and Adrenaline

Hello.... ^^

I started my morning by meeting my partner to prepare the power point presentation for PMD class. I am very fortunate to have such a very cooperative and helpful partner. She is all you ever want in a partner :) eventhough we only had a little time to prepare, we did our homework, so when we met, we already knew what we wanted to include in our presentation. So, thank U partner! I think we were the most prepared team and we did it well today ^^ Let's keep it like that for the rest of the semester!

As for the game, we also have made a significant progress. We can now play the game, although there are still errors here and there that cause the arrows not to function correctly :p we're still working on it. We already have the "help" and "about" screen, and also the "you win" and "you lose" part. So, to summarize, I guess we have no problem for the main menu interface, 'coz it has run smoothly. Problems are in the game play, but we're going to solve it. Once a senior lecturer told us: "If you think you can, you can!" Let's keep that in mind ^^

Another interesting thing today: we played a horror online game called The House and The Grudge. They are awesomely SCARY!!! Right now I'm playing another horror online game named Hotel 626 with my sister ('coz I'm too scared if I have to do it alone :P)
You SHOULD try them! Playing online games can refresh your mind, especially if you play the ones in this genre :D

Nice Way to Start My Monday!!

Hi all!! Miss me? No? Okay, no hard feelings :p This is my first post after the assignment where I had to report my progress on the Game Project is done! Meaning to say: this is my first post that I write because I want to. Well, actually it is greatly influenced by my beloved students :) I temporarily teach at a local university in my city, and this semester I have the chance to teach this great class called CRW. It stands for Critical Reading and Writing. At first, it felt like a nightmare! Why? 'coz it is 4 credits in a row!! Can you imagine teaching for more or less 3,5 straight hours?? Four Days Synopsis

Olla ^^ I have to say that the past 4 days were not my best days :p There's so much going on. Some old problems added up with some new troubles, so I couldn't take it anymore, at least my body protested first, forcing me to take some really good rest without any disturbance. I shouldn't tell you ALL my problems 'coz that will make this blog seems pathetic, right ^^ I just can say: dealing with emotions WELL is not one of my characteristics. I'd say it sucks! That's exactly why I prefer dealing with animals rather than people, coz animals, esp dogs, never lie. They're straightforward; everytime they make mistakes, they apologize and try to make it up to us. Needless to say, only a few people do the same thing in the exact same situation. Living on our own in peace is much better than living with other people full of arguments, suspicions and anger.
